We got to take a mini-vacation to Houston, Texas to see our dear friends, The Knorr Family. Brian, Chris, Hailey & Kaysie welcomed us to their beautiful new home and were the best hosts to the entire family. Chris even let Mama Kennedy sleep in and changed Shane's dirty morning diapers! Now THAT is a vacation! While we were there, we toured NASA Space Station and got to see some big rockets. We went to Keomo Bay, watched some big boats, ate some delicious food, and Mandi even got pooped on by a Sea Gull. That day, we pushed the kids to the limits and they were little Rock Stars!
The next day, we relaxed, did some shopping, painted some Easter eggs with the kiddos, and just spent some good quality time with our great quality friends!
It was Shane's first plane ride, and my advice is, if you have a busy 19 month old kid, I would avoid a plane ride at all cost. Nah, it was better than I expected (I expected the worst), and it was worth every bit of it to see the Knorr Crew.
